Isnt' that Tom formerly of Universal Armorer? I would stay clear of him.
    Many here know his history.

It looks good, I would like to see a better pic of the helmet.

I never had any dealings personally, but I haven't heard of any great praise for him either.

Besides 16 feedback with 2 negs, tell me to be cautious.

    A Rubies Recast in fiberglass

As for the rest of the armor, anyone want to chime in on where that came from? No matter how good it looked, I can't see sending $1,400.00 half way around the world to a pedophile.

    Stay away from Star Fortress.

If it's from Starfortress, it's substandard. Word has it that Starfortress and their mother company "Outworld" are some kind of prop & costume sweatshop proprietors based in the Philippines. The current owner, Tony (this from someone who posted this info a long time ago, on a prop board far, far away) claims he threw out Tom and his Australian accomplice due to some kind of disagreement a couple of years ago - this might however be some kind of cover story to keep the sales up, as Tom's rep is both well-known and, well sort of... bad.

Anyway - Starfortress stuff is crap - sub-par, inaccurate costume soft parts and bad licensed helmet recasts. A few people actually dared to buy their stuff, most of the ones who actually received any goods were sorely disappointed. Caveat indeed.

That suit is a modified recast of Mike Glover's 2003 Styrene armor. It was most likely made by a man named Ernie Scheuer (he has many aliases, Tom, whatever), he is a known child pornographer and statutory rapist from Carrollton, Texas, who fled to Manilla when his home computer was confiscated about 4 years ago. He and his wife were having threesomes with a seventeen-year-old girl...mom found out, told the police, they got his computer, movies of children being raped and pics of naked 10 year old children.

He was able to promptly leave America since he had dual citizenship, his wife is from Manilla. How do I know? My Step-brother knew the couple, they were neighbors actually. My step brother has a suit of Universal armor in his house to this date.

Some guys shill for him on TDH...despite his slimy past. He will also threaten you with bodily harm if you call him out. But he is shrimpy punk, hiding in a den of children slave labor, making these suits.

Avoid SFP if you have any shred of integrity.

Can someone "educate" me as to the different clone trooper armour available so I can update SWhelmets?

I remember there was a set produced by a chap in Florida but I dont know if it ever shipped.

Whats out there, whats the best etc.

    Cheers

This fallout and reorganization tale is garbage. Nothing has changed, despite quite a few people buying this story. Move along.......
