Hello all!
Amber, one half of Firelight Cosplay, here. I'm working on a version of Starfire based on the new 52 design but with much more SUPER SERIOUS badassery in the form of armoring! Here's the design I'm working from:
As you can see there's two main components: the spandex body suit, then the armoring on top. Originally I was going to make the armoring out of syntra (a type of plastic) but now that I think about it I think I'll actually make it out of EVA foam sealed with plastidip. That'll make it lighter and (very importantly!) cheaper to make over all. Her little round jewels I will cast out of resin as soon as I find a dye I like.
I also need to get a wig, green contacts, and figure out what I'm going to use for bodypaint. I'm no stranger to it, but usually I'm a bit more... blue.
Next update should have soft parts started and (hopefully) finished!
