Hi Muddler. Did I read that you might be doing a silver set or do you mean the blue with the silver graphic? If you ARE doing a silver version I'd be in for 1 set of those too...

No, the blue chips are the ones with silver printing!
I guess that'll be clearer once I'm able to post the first pictures...

Yeah, I already had several people ask for full gold or silver, but I don't think I'll be doing those. The thing is that the available plastic-blanks look rather cheap and dissapointing. It's always just pulverised metallic particles mixed into the plastic, so you'll see the texture and "swirls" from the casting process. The resulting colors also look more like "metallic-yellow" and "metallic-grey"- not really like gold and silver.
And you'll never have a homogenous shiny surface (which I would want for such a product). You would need a separate chrome-finish - but that would rub off after some time and doesn't work well if combined with the foil-printing that is used for the details. (And it's simply not possible from the technical side to completely cover the chips with the glossy printing foil either).

I think the transparent plastic-chips are the best solution, so I'll stick to variations of those.

When I first saw my blue and yellow chips together I actually thought about the same...
(Though with my available plastic-colors I'd rather go for a dark orange with gold as this harmonizes better with the light blue).

So there is a chance that I'll be doing a third color with a future run. But I got no idea how soon this could happen. It might be as long as end of the year - depending on how this run develops and how much spare time I'll have left.
Hope this still helps you with your decision...
