Star Wars, Raiders, Superman - LSO principal trumpeter passes away

Only caught this because it was just on BBC Radio's 'Last Word' obit program -

Maurice Murphy, the principal trumpeter of the London Symphony Orchestra died last Thursday. Never really thought before of the face behind the instrument that's front and centre of some of the most iconic and recognisable movie themes.

RIP Maurice, thanks for the memories.

Very sad to hear
