This is a build log of my Star Wars inspired Macrobinoculars that were used by Luke Skywalker in A New Hope. Just like my last build, the base is an old Radica Tank Assault handheld video game. The electronics in this one still worked which was a bonus! I used roygilsing amazing Macrobinocular build as reference and inspiration. I CNC machined most of the parts from either acrylic or aluminum, with a found part thrown in here and there. I made the EIAJ plug out of acrylic and even used some leftover Graflex brass pins for a special touch. The painting is a combination of spray paint and airbrushing and the weathering and chipping was done by hand. I was very pleased with how it turned out. It was a fun build and I learned some new things along the way.
