Star Wars force fx lightsaber black series lightsaber question please help

I was under the assumption that the recent Hasbro force fx lightsabers ( the higher end $149.99 ones ) are called Star Wars The Black Series Force FX Lightsabers.
It reads as so right on the box.

I sold one recently and the buyer gave me negative feedback stating it was not the Black series but the Standard series???

What is standard series does that even make any sense? Thew box read as black series when I bought it at Gamestop.

Please reply if you know for sure. Thank you I greatly appreciate it.

He’s totally a scammer. If it blatantly says black series on the box then it’s the black series. And if you posted pictures of the item in your listing he knew exactly what he was getting.

Thank you for reply. I cannot post a photo but could easily describe it.

The long box is 46 inches by 5 by 4. It is Black and red and reads #3 on the end.

Was there a standard series fx lightsaber? I never ever heard of that before. I heard of master replicas fx, Hasbro signature series fx, the black series fx and the smaller ultimate fx.
What the heck is a standard edition.

The more I think about this I feel this low life wants to pull the switcheroo with something else.

The only different ones that are similar to black series, are the d23 exclusives, but it looks like he’s talking about something else.

Thank you Aldo. I greatly appreciate the help. Like you wrote, it reads right on the box under the Star Wars Logo, The Black Series. I showed that in auction and have all kinds of photo proof of actual item.

Your welcome! You should also probably ask him what he means by standard line. I’ve looked around a little, and I can’t find any mention from anyone about a “standard line”of these fx sabers. Maybe, he’s just mistaken, and not a scammer, but who really knows.

What the buyer said to me really still does not make any sense. Mentioned that the words the black series were originally in black on the box and now they are silver?
I have no idea what that means. After I sent them one of the photos I took of the box before I packed it showing them where it reads the black series they understood thankfully. Still said there was a different box at some point but who knows. Thankfully with prayers, input, contemplation and explaining it is good now

I’ve seen the blue Luke ones on eBay and they’re normally around €250-300.
they’re also hard to come by. That’s what made me think it was too good to be true.
