Anyone know what they used? I've always wanted one to take to the gym. I'm sure they used a pre-existing piece.

I hope the attached picture helps. This bag doesn't look practical though. Not sure about the material but it can be made with Briefcase material or a 3D printer.

Steve Neill did some repairs on a screenused one about 10 years ago (although I can't find the videos). IIRC it was an acrylic tube.

Dear RPF members,

I know I’m not strictly a member but does anyone know where I could get/buy one of these luggage cases please? I saw a few years back someone was offering personalised versions on Etsy but they’ve stopped now. Can anyone help please?

Many thanks,

Luke

Jean-Luc Picard seems to have a different one, as is seems that the d-ring for the strap isn't located on the side panels. Unfortunately there aren't really other angles of it. This is from season 7 episode 2, at the end.

My 3D printable design attempt. The hatches are designed to be latched with neodymium magnets. I could find very little information other than a few pictures out there, so I have estimated the dimensions from videos and photos. I believe there were several models. The one with Data's name and the Enterprise D name looks to have cable clamps along with a shoulder strap with clips. The photo above looks as if the shoulder strap hardware is different..

Why not consider a build of the other TNG travel case that was converted from a Zenith camcorder case, as an alternative?

These can be had, fairly cheaply, on the secondary market, and would likely stand up to rugged handling and travel (as they were designed to):
