I received a science tricorder just this morning and found out it was missing the hand scanner. :angry I already have the RMA printed out and everything is back in the package. I hope the next one is complete. That being said, this isn't too bad. I will definitely be upgrading it though. I did not notice if it had a spinning moire and I am not taking it back out of the package to check.

If I remember correctly, the science tricorder does not include the hand scanner.

Mine came with the scanner, unless they changed , the Science and Medical Tricorders have their own special hand scanners. .......

The science tric has the long narrow scanner with a color changing LED in the head.
