I've been following the few threads on the RPF for various projects and you all have helped so much so I thought I'd add my contributions when I can.
I was fortunate enough to be in San Diego over the past few days for SDCC, and went to the Michael J Wolf gallery to see the exhibit of the show. I've been wanting to make the new uniform since the trailer came out, so here are a gazillion pictures of the uniforms (mostly the female captain's) if anyone needs it. I'll be hopefully starting my own when I get home, and will make progress posts when I can.
One thing that stands out is the material. Majority of the costume is a navy blue, probably a stretch poly blend. It looked incredibly similar to the poly gaberdine that I used for a previous costume, but lighter weight. The shoulders and elbows are reinforced with leather/vinyl with stitching and painted details. The thing I'm having trouble with is mainly the side stripes and the chevron details. They look like puff paint with gold painted on top.
I included pictures of the accessories for reference.
I did hear from one of the staff that Anovos *may* be producing a screen accurate version, but probably not for a while.

All of the photos are taken on my cell phone, but the lighting was great and has no glass on the uniforms.
