UPDATE: See post #16 for info. All remaining items are existing stock which I have had available for more than 2 years.
Interest thread for bone china cup and saucer sets for all the other ships of the TOS movie era. These will be made using the light green / turquoise version of the cup and saucer, not the darker blue that was used in the movie for the ST VI Excelsior sets. I think this alternate color is also a good match for the detail color that was used for some areas of the TMP Enterprise studio model.
I will have custom graphic transfers made for sets from the NX Excelsior, Enterprise, Reliant, and Grissom.
These are vintage bone china sets from the same maker as those used in the movie. All sets are clean and inspected for damage, discoloration, or other defects before shipping.
Below are some rough prototypes that I put together using some waterslide decals. The colors for these are too dark and streaky because of my old printer. The final graphic transfers will look much nicer, with clean, vibrant colors just like the ones I used for my previous Excelsior set. The color will be a lighter turquoise, slightly lighter than the cup detail, similar to the look of the NCC Excelsior set in the comparison photo.
Because this cup and saucer set is not as scarce as the ones used for the NCC Excelsior set, the price will be a little lower, approx. $55 with US shipping included. Individual orders will ship in an 8" x 8" x 8" box with an EXCESSIVE amount of bubble wrap to protect everything. I had a recent Excelsior set that was shipped across the country, over 2000 miles away. The USPS badly abused the box, partially crushing it, but the contents still arrived completely undamaged.
Estimated shipping date for these is mid October.
This is going to be a small run for now, with more sets available as I can find them. I currently have 12.
