Split Second 357 weapon (1992 movie with Rutger Hauer)

I was cleaning up my workshop and found my old Crosman 357 air gun which still happens to work great. Even though the 357 Python Crosman modelled it after was used in numerous films, the Crosman copy still looked like an air pistol. Apparently in Canada, you can not sell, or transfer airsoft guns, so I decided that I will make this into a prop from the 1992 movie Split Second.

As soon as I get my resin printer up and running again, I'll design and print out the parts.

Any fans of this movie?

Guilty pleasure, as so many of Rutger's films are, utter rubbish, but GLORIOUS rubbish.I used to quote lines from it all the time with my best mate back in the day.Love it,and the "Big, ****in guns" too!

Here's one I made ages ago. I actually did two variants of the scope, with single and double mounts. It's been so long, But I recall seeing a version that was more like the concept sketch, so I ended up keeping the single mount on it. Never did get around to mounting the pressure plate! Still an awesome looking blaster after all these years. (The same can't be said of the 'motorcycle helmet monster' in the movie. Yikes!) Kim Cattrall has her Star Trek hair too!
