Spiderman waist-height ratio

Hey everyone,

I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I have a question. I've been wanting to buy a spiderman costume but after looking at some pictures of other people wearing the spiderman costume, I became hesitant. I mean no offense to anyone but I want to have a good spiderman body-type before I even think about buying the suit. Does anyone happen to know what a good waist-height ratio is for a guy that's 5'6? I know other factors play a role like having muscles and stuff, but I feel like the waist size is the first thing anyone would notice of a spiderman costume.

Which costume? Red & blue or the Venom-ish black and white? With the black suit, I don't think the waist/height ratio would matter all that much. However, the red/blue suit, has that band/belt around there. Interesting question. I hope someone with talent answers you.

I'm almost 5.8" 165 lbs, my waist all around is 34" when I measure using a measuring tape, at 5.6" a 30 waist would be good I guess. Here's some photos of me wearing a Spidey suit.

Its probably not so much waist size, as your body shape. You might have a larger than average waist compared to your height, but also have broad shoulders and muscular legs which even things out.

If youre thinking about it and are worried about the look, maybe just dress yourself up in some skintight thermal leggings and a long sleeved thermal top. Take a pic, and look at the result. If its not what you want to see, you can do something about it if you want. Eat a little healthier, drink less beer, do push ups, pull ups and situps everyday.

Personally, unless you are spherical, I wouldnt worry about it, and just do what you enjoy doing.

Well to be honest the first thing is a nice V shape, wide shoulder
and small waist and absolutley no belly LOL

I'm just under 5'7, so we are pretty much the same height and I have a 30 inch waist...... Figured this way you could put 5'6 and 30 inches together
