Hi guys! I'm new here so go easy one me but I've always wanted to make a spidey mask! Ok so the problem is I'm on a budget so I can't get it printed or something like that..... so now you guys are probably thinking go to Mclean's thread and I've done that, multiple times and so I thought about the idea he used when he made a pattern with tin foil and a dummy head! The problem is I have no idea how to cut the right "pattern shape" and If I can make the pattern I have no idea how to sew it together! :cry
But there are many proffesional suit makers on this site so I'm asking for some advice, I'm thinking of making it out of a giant red t shirt and I want it to be a tight fit around the neck! Any tips guys? :confused Thanks

I'm working on the lenses, they're based off the ones in the amazing spider-man! I couldn't find any template for them so I drew it myself that's why their not perfect but right now it looks like this: SDC13793_zps602519fc.jpg picture by billy_ly1 - Photobucket

They will be gold and right now the frame is just cardboard for showing, the frame will be made out of fake leather material! :)

Please help guys! I need all the help I can get! :cry

Don't think the t short will work. You need the material tob stretch so it will be snug.

Oh crap! I can't afford spandex and it's pretty hard to get here in Sweden :cry
Do you have any idea? I'm sure it's possible to make a mask out of a t shirt if you have a pattern but I have no idea how to do it!

Maybe my best bet would be to buy a zentai mask! But I like to make things myself :)

Here's an idea. Get a4 sticker paper and print the pattern. Stick it on cloth and cut out the large pieces. remove the paper (hopefully won't stick too much) and sew the pieces together. Tadaa!
