Son's Hulk build (Halloween 2019)

My wife and I decided to build a Hulk suit for my 4 year old son. We started with a latex suit. We bought a lot of mattress foam from Joann's and between scissors and an electric knife we cut out the muscles. Our first attempt at muscles was no good. We had to redo a lot of muscles after they were already glued on the suit. We covered the foam in cloth so that the paint wouldn't soak into the foam. We bought liquid latex and mixed it with acrylic paint. After 3 coats we were happy with the thickness. We then finished with perma-wet which gave it a little shine, but also prevented the pieces from sticking with each other.

Your son must have been so excited to go out in a costume that fantastic !! The tiny Black Widow is adorable too !
