I found some new pictures and am doubting the accuracy of my original construction plan. I think it might be that the logo is a thin metal plate attached to the surface of a single solid red disc.

Ah, I see what you mean, now that I look at it it does appear as though the red may be showing under the open space of the logo, as you said possibly being a thin plate on top of he red, hard to tell from the pics I’ve seen

I believe there may be two versions.One is flat (seen on display with the costume) and one is like your original design as seen in the film when you know who gets pulled up via hologram.

Okay! New prototypes are in production! Updated details from new nice behind-the-scenes photos sent to me but a very interested fan and collector. A few things have changed from the previous version, all in the interest of accuracy.

Here's some photos of the finished rev 1 ring. This has the old dimensions and features. The final ring will be gold plated stainless steel, and the resin part will come out nicer.

It looks like we're going to do "Small, Medium, and Large" sizes which will put us at about 7, 10, and 13. These will definitely be the gold plated stainless steel option, and not the brass version. I have a pressure chamber so I'll be able to get bubble free. There's also going to be a hole underneath the resin so a cool flowing stand could be made to light it up for display purposes. I've updated the first post with those who've commented that they're interested. I do not yet have final pricing, but plan on doing a discount here for preorders, and then full price once it gets to the etsy shop. I expect these to be complete and ready to ship before the end of the summer, right around the DVD release date.

Prototypes of the final version!

The ring base is resin here, but will be made in cast stainless steel and then gold plated. The middle section is resin too in the photo, but will be molded and cast in crimson resin. The topper piece is a thick plate of stainless steel that is gold plated. Stay tuned for ordering details shortly.

The tops are both the same. One has a small little lip to help with alignment of the steel plate
