My first prop related post here, whoo hoo. Welll here is a look at my favorite props to make, enjoy!

My droid history....


First R2 (built around 2001ish)

Next was my Uber R2 (mostly aluminum with a fiberglass body)

That static resin R2 is fantastic. I love the slightly dirty look. If/when I ever get round to making or getting one, thats how I'd want it to look. Very cool :thumbsup

To anyone that doesn't know this guy, I believe he set an R2Builders record for fastest R-series droid ever built (the last blue and yellow one). And it was very impressive to see at CIV.

Thanks for the compliments everyone. It great to be here.

The only droid I have now is R3-B2 (the second version with Shackman's lights).
Each droid usually gets sold to fund the next ect.

So a few of you like the R4? Here are some more pics of it.
Some of the "Dome" panels, the skirt under the body and a few body panels are clear and there are greeblies inside including the grasper claw and the Computer interface arm. Unfortunately I dont have good pics of the tools in the body. This got sold to Elstree Studios and they sold it off on Ebay. I dont know where it is now.

Thanks, no I was not at Dragon Con. I know the R2 builders were going to have a table there. I have yet to make it to that con. Someday I hope.
