Smuggler's Run Ceiling Light

I have become fascinated with this light fixture in the wait line for Millennium Falcon Smuggler's Run. The writing I see on it is in French. The bulk of it looks like found items. At least to me. There are at least 4 overhead in the wait line.

To me, these are props I could conceivably recreate, partly because the parts probably exist today.

My question is this: What is this? What are the parts it is made from?

I was able to look at some of pics and video under magnification. The molded on writing may indeed be English.

The balance of the fixture may never have even been a light. The machining, robustness and especially the red have me thinking fire suppression equipment, and, that is just a wild assed guess. It could be from any field.

those lights are awesome and definitely in my interest!! If you can’t find the real parts .. let me know and I’ll model some up for 3D printing ;)

Thanks for the offer Triin!

Hey Woody, yep, they do resemble manifold adapters. I was also contemplating if those machined plates were made just to fit the housing they are mounted to. That the housing is purchased and the plates made to fit and cut out for lights. Other than the machined plates, the balance of the lights look like purchased items.

Those plates had me thinking manifold, and the color red had me thinking distribution manifold for fire suppression material under pressure due to the housing looks built to be strong and there is round cap I associate with an adjustable "thing" underneath. Of course, this is my imagination; for all I know it is nothing of the sort.

I'm now wishing I had taken a few more pics. Ever have that thought? Alas, the line was moving and I didn't want to be a bother.

Something else that may not be obvious, and no idea if it is relevant to identifying the parts; the LEDs (bulbs) are behind glass or plastic.

Lighting Fixtures For Explosive Environments as a search brings up some interesting pics. The lights that come up certainly have a Star Wars look. Still, haven't found these yet.

Yeah you’ve got me searching as well
If I find anything.. I’ll post it here... although I’ve been in the back of my mind, engineering the pathways and mount points for the leds and electronics...
just like you, I would rather have it made from the actual metal parts .. the 3D print would be a last resort or possible for the parts that can’t be found :)

Yeah this would be easy to engineer if the part was identified.. can just print a housing and frosted inserts for the leds that fit in there ;)

If anyone is heading to Disneyland and gets in line for this ride, do what i didn't think to do at the time. ZOOM IN before taking the photos!

Yep, my preference is for the actual parts and materials, as well. I would 3D print, more accurately, have someone do so if that were my sole reasonable option.
