Smallville (absolute justice trailer) props

we had 1 gentleman on the RPF make a helm of Fate . I would like to see some more of his work on the helm. something about the helm I think is cool and I think his is closer to the comic I like the shape a bit better than what I see in the Smallville trailer.

But the GL ring of alan scot and the Flash helm or Hawkmans mask would be cool

I also think the hawkman armor and helm looks cool. Defiently a thing we whould love to do.

I really like the story behind it... Smallville is becoming more intresting with these superheros emerging...

Not really sure if it will be in Smallville but I would LOVE a Golden Age Flash helmet. And if I had to pick an artist it would be something Alex Ross drew

Just saw one on the LOH, I have always loved the Golden age stuff, can't wait to see the episode. I would also love to see the Smallville take on Wildcat

Sandman's mask and gun! The top of the Smallville mask looks very similar to his Golden Age comic appearances, but has more of a filter/cannister-looking thing on the bottom. I haven't seen the gas gun yet. The Sandman Mystery theater version of the gun was much bulker and to me, more realistic. The one I've seen him carry in the regular comics looked basically like a little handgun. I'm looking forward to seeing how they handle it on Smallville.

Just FYI: The Alan Scott Power Battery and Power Ring seen in the episode are the official replicas that DC Direct put out several years ago. So if you track down the Alan Scott Power Battery with matching Power Ring, you'll have the EXACT props seen in the show. They're a little harder to find these days, but they are out there, and can be found if you're persistent. :)

The ring they used might actually be the metal ring with a "gemstone" in the center, that was sold packaged with a mini-bust of Alan Scott:

Now you know... and knowing's half the battle! :)

Alan Scott's ring was the prop that excited me the most in that episode. It's very cool that they used an existing, licensed ring -- now it's as accurate as it can be!

And I thought it was a great episode of the show.

I'm looking forward to turning my spare room in to Batcave/Trophy room and these props gave me so SUPER (pun intended) good ideas!

I also like the fact that Sandman's gas gun had the big cannister-type barrel. In some of the comic art, especially from the Golden Age, it's more of a modified handgun. I think the one I made for my husband's costume is kind of similar.
