Sideshow Crystal Skull Photo Review

I just wanted to share a little photoshoot I did of the DVD exclusive Crystal Skull statue from Sideshow. The detail on this thing is amazing and it holds up to very closeup shots. The jaw doesnt seem logn or narrow enough for me, but its only a minor gripe. Beautiful piece, with the $45 for the giftset alone. Enjoy!

I got the crystal skull too, LOVE it!!! Its alot bigger than I expected, just wish they did a full sized version!

How does it compare to the scaled skull that came with the DVD...? I've yet to see pics of the latter.

I had bad luck with mine...set it on the base..lifted it to see for the first time and it fell off the base to the counter where the jaw must have hit and a bunch of tetth broke out. I tried to glue a few back as best I could..but it doesn't look to great.

I never even had a chance to look at it before it broke!!! :cry

I emailed Sideshow to see if they might offer a replacement..but they didn't reply. It was my fault..but holy..it doesn't even sit on the base securely which led to it falling off and breaking. WAH!!

eek, if it had hit the bottom teeth it would have been fine, the jaw piece is made of almost rubbery plastic, different than the rest of the skull.

Can I ask how big the skull actually is?

I think it landed on the bottom jaw..which survived, but it rammed the bottom teeth into the top teeth and broke 6 or so out..only 4 of which I could find and sloppily glue in place.
