Hi folks, I'm a long time reader but I haven't actually posted until now. I got my 1:1 Combat Veteran Endo recently and I thought some of you might like to see it. I've been writing about it for some weeks now over at the Statueforums (hi guys!)
There's a long story to this, involving incompetent couriers, lots of phone calls and a lot of patience, but for now on to the pics!

Cool!:cool Is it posable?

Thanks for the comments guys!

He's only very slightly posable - the head turns left and right through roughly 45° as does the gun arm. The fingers are also fully articulated although I don't like to move them as they're a bit loose. I need to tighten the screws up a little bit.

Now that was a cool photo with the Endo, and Predator. Some type of cool new movie theme you hatching for us.

BTW Great Endo man, would love to have one or two, or ect ect.
Thanks for the photos also :thumbsup

Hey thanks!

Well I'm a huge fan of the Alien/Predator/Terminator series, got bitten by the large scale collectibles bug big time. Also have the Combat Endo bust, the Predator bust (pictured); the T800 Arnie bust and the 1/4 scale Alien Queen (both on the way).
Hopefully some day I'll be able to track down the 1:1 Alien Warrior bust; that's my holy grail piece. They're going for obscene prices these days on Ebay.

I hope to set up a kickass home cinema some day, these babies will all be going on display!

I really love this life-size Endo...should I have the place to display it !!!

What I don't understand is that it's a combat version (weathered) but the plasma rifle looks like brand new.....why ?

I would sugguest some thin C shaped shims and insert them inbetween, cut them out of tin aluminum sheets if you can't find any available. Tightening the screws may cause some stress and risk stress cracks. Hate to see such a beauty suffer, but its your call. Just my 2 c.:cool

By the way, I didn't read much about this but what material is it made of? Fiberglass, resin? :confused

There's a very subtle 'surface rust' effect on the gun - it's hard to see at first glance, but it's there. Looks very cool.

Looks really creepy in the garage environment :)

He's only there temporarily - it's proving difficult to find somewhere in the house to put him :D

It's mostly fibreglass and some resin I think, there's steel support rods running through the whole thing to give it a bit of strength. It weighs a frickin' ton! (not literally of course!)

I know what you mean about the stresses etc., the screws are stripping the threads of the holes as they're only screwed into a resin-like material. You can hear the odd crack when you tighten them so you have to be extra careful. I was thinking about gluing them in place as they're not really going to be moved.
