Showoff thread: My New Tricorder

I just got this Saturday from Stapleton Productions. It is flawless! I had a friend come over and he thought it was a MR piece. It is super nice, he did a great job with it. It features a ratcheting noise when it opens and then the classic "worble" scanning sound, and a recharging port on the back. The paint job on it is awesome!

You know, Stapleton always manages to give Star Trek props that really characteristically Star Trek look.

I don't know how to describe it, but his pieces consistently look like they were pulled straight out of the 24th Century- something MR just never *quite* accomplished imho.

I was lucky enough to snatch an MR, and yours looks nicer! Beautiful piece. I really like Myrons new master for that tricorder.
