Shocktrooper helmet is nearing completion

Here's my EPIII Clonetrooper helmet IN PROGRESS

These were taken without flash so the weathering didn't get washed out
It still needs the rubber strip in the back of the helmet, the line on the disc, greeblies & a black wash, but it's getting there

Here's a close-up of the weathering so you can see the actual damage

Other than I would love one or two of those helmets???? :) :) Looks great. Any way you could post a tutorial on how you did the weathering??? I sent you a PM on CT.net. Are the tube stripes painted as well?? I love how the weathering looks "layered." I think that is the right word. Hope to hear from you.

a weathering tutorial?
the scratches- X-acto knife
the dirt- cheap old brown acrylic craft paint from wal-mart (dab it on, wipe it off, it's pretty simple)


all the stripes are painted (no easy task, I assure you) :lol
