Hi guys,
For a really long time I've been trying to get hold of a replica of Shane Walsh's grey t-shirt with the King County Sheriff Dept. shield on the chest from Season 1. Unfortunately, with other projects such as my Punisher costume, this small project has been put on hold for quite a while. However, I have been intermittently searching around for any information over the past couple of years without any success. I'll post my (mediocre) research on here in hopes someone can help me out with putting this together.
There are two different shirts worn by Shane, a plain grey shirt which seems to only be used in the promotional shots for the first season of the show.
The second shirt worn (and the one I am most interested in replicating) is a grey "ringer" style t-shirt with black piping around the hems.
The badge on the shirt is what I have been having the most trouble with. Unlike the arm patches from Rick's sheriff uniform, very few images and absolutely zero replicas exist. The best image I could find was from the card collection.
I've ran in to three issues in obtaining this shirt. I have been unable to find an accurate "ringer" style t-shirt to use as a base, I cannot find anyone who I can commission the patch from, and finally I have no idea what kind of size the patch would have to be. I have a rough estimate of 5cm from top to bottom.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
