Are you talking about the QMx materials? The book or the poster? I have both. The posters are drawings like the Incredible Cross Sections Star Wars books. (In fact, I think they may even have been drawn by the same guy.) The book has much more flat, blueprint type iso views, but not in the basic line-art style, they are full color images with "stuff abandoned in place" ... in other words, show and movie appropriate props are included strewn about the ship. Also, the book manages to massage the sets to actually fit inside the exterior model of Serenity, and there are some subtle surprises about how that works.
Images of the Mule are included. The side and front get big renderings on their own page, but, curiously, the top is only included as a smaller image on a page with deck plans of the cargo hold. But it should be enough to get you started while collecting details about the back and bottom from production stills or clips from the movie.
Both products are quite good, but I've never built anything from them.
Oh, and also, they are of the movie version of the ship, not the TV show version.
