So I have decided to mod my Vader bucket some more.
While this isn't accurate it will still look pretty sick once it's finished.
Unfortunately I don't have pics of certain stages of the mod so some will be from before the current lenses and magnetic mounting system were installed.
First pic is from when I was getting ready to install proper amber lenses.
I then added a raised steel plate to the top of the mask dome which allowed for two large magnets mounted in the helmet to tightly secure the two sections.
I then bought some modeling foam and sculpted a reveal style piece around the unsightly steel plate.
Next using 2mm eva foam, and an exacto blade I cut out strips and detail pieces.
The vents were made from worbla squares covered in aluminum foil tape, with the red detail done with a sharpie. After trimming, gluing, and painting I added 3 thin strips of foil tape for detail.
The top will be detailed with 5mm eva foam, but I may end up buying casts of the dental expanders, and the missing side details.
