Hi all.

I was visiting the Beverly and Jim Rogers Museum of Lone Pine, near Owens Lake (on highway 395) CA, and while the museum mostly focuses on westerns (as tons of them were filmed in the area, notable in the nearby Alabama Hills) there is a section in the back with props from sci-fi and superhero films, including a bunch of things from the Tremors films and TV show, Iron Man (ammo boxes, etc.), and a few props from Star Trek V: The Final Frontier, including one of the Nimbus 3 rifles carried by Sybok's followers.

Here's a Flickr Set with photos of the gun, plus a few other odds and ends.

Here's me with the gun (someone at the museum was nice enough to pull it out of the case so I could document it).

Oh, and here's the piece of the neon Cat Lady sign that falls on the ground during the Paradise City raid.

Dude, you shave and you could be that guy from the opening of ST5.

BTW, I'm the only one that likes that movie.

Cool find.

I love the that RARE and unique weapon! Thanks for sharing. :love

I loved the assault phaser from Star Trek V - but the movie stunk.:cry

Thanks for sharing the photo. You know, ST5 wasn't great, but it had some great PARTS in the movie. I always thought the beginning was original and funky, and YES Michael is correct. You need to shave your head and be that guy from the beginning! :love

lol, you could indeed do the opening sceen ;) Thanks for sharing, very cool, we watched ST V only a week or so ago again... your prop is cooler than the movie ;p
