"Screen Used" Iron Man mask on eBay ?! Very unlikely ...

Woooow it's RARE. Wonder if the fan-produced visitor's badge in the auction that they had 80 of at a con I went to last weekend are rare too....

They are trading assistants so sell stuff for other people, someone probably brought it and said it was screen used etc.

Also in the details on the auction is states

"This auction is for Stark Industries visitors badge."

Now is this is addition to the mask or instead of as it can be read either way?

I want an Ironman helmet but I think I will pass on this one. :rolleyes

Probably a cut-n-paste error from another auction. Which seems to be endemic for a lot of eBay sellers.

Ah, the fun that results when someone without a specialized background gets involved in something where nearly everyone else does have that background...

I've seen a lot of similar situations with haunted house items - there's a lot of stuff that looks good to the uninformed but turns out to be total crap, and there's a lot of people who go through fairly reputable sellers' assistants and the like to try to get more than the stuff is worth. The assistant that posts the auction gets the fallout if there is any, and if it sells then the seller gets the money.

I guess all you have to do is add recasting to it somewhere and we can hit almost every questionable behavior short of outright theft.

I guess I should be clear - I'm not saying that this seller is (or is not) doing any of those things, I'm just commenting on general behaviors I've seen.

"Iron Man is a fictional character, a superhero that appears in comic books published by Marvel Comics..."

Really?!?? I had absolutely no idea! Been awhile since I've watched this movie, but did the screen used Mk III helmet come with built in hardware for wall mounting? :lol
