Hi all

Posting this for a good friend Micheal Provenzano, he cant reg here till december so here we go. Mike started this project a while ago now and his talent never ceases to amaze me, this build is to me utterly stunning, i do understand there may be a few who call it out as non studio scale, so mods if ive posted incorrectly please move :) Anyways, enough babble and ill let Mikes work do the talking.

best regards......lee

Insane.....this soooo cool. This guy did an amazing job. I really love his sense for detail. This one gains
"monster respect" :thumbsup Would love to see the paintjob.

Ive been wanting to see her painted since i got to talking with Mike :p Hell id even love to paint it for him, but he's got it down, hes a member over at www.starshipbuilder.com, Charles' awesome site, drop him a line if your ever over there guys. What i love about Mikes talent is if he cant plug the right kit part it just doesnt phase him, although its not the studio scale way, he just hand makes that part, check out his gun tips, they rule.

Very nice job. :thumbsup You can tell when someone really loves what they are doing. Looks like the bar has been set, though this guy looks to have put MORE detail on that the original ILM speeder models had..

Great work :)

Well guys Mike is a reader here so your words will no doubt stoke him on. What he actually did Gort was to take measures from the AMT kit, then enlarge to studio and correct what was wrong here n there. He has indeed added a lot more detail to the prop we all know and love, the cockpit is sick huh lol. It is without doubt an amazing build, when shes finished i cant wait to see his next creation.

I saw his work on the SSM boards, that's amazing, this a really good step by step.
Cant wait to see her painted .
Thx buddy for sharing it .

Wow.. Its cool to see the buildup steps. Its amazing the amount of work that goes into scratchbuilding.

It is more complicated than it seems , sooo many conflicting angles i have one i started but man its a headache, then you realise your dims are off, and it all seems like a bad idea lol. Mike stuck to his guns and he's almost finished.

The Snowspeeder has always been a special model in my book...........one of the most detailed smaller ships in the saga.................and he has done a fantastic job on it. I am very impressed. He is easily up there with the very best modellers. Probably the best scratch builder I've personally ever seen. Please pass my compliments on to your friend. Yes this board would definitely benefit from this guy's talents. :)

Wow.....scratch-builders never cease to amaze. They are a different breed of modeller...incredible work.
