So after i did the Wedge Antilles Helmet in my firts Thread, I decided to do the rest of the Costume as well.
I started with the chestbox.
I made a CAD model of the Chestbox and printed out a template to get the right dimensions.

I built the raw shape of the Chestbox with 3mm thick Styrene plates I glued together with hotglue.
I covered the whole box with fiberglass, applied bondo an sanded it smooth. Then i primed it with a coat of white gloss paint.

In the next steps i painted the box gray and masked of the surface which would become black.

I drilled a hole and attached a decal knob with an M3 Screw, which will later be replaced with a LED.
I masked of the frames around the black surface and attached a little screen I took from an old darts game.
I painted the white frames and covered the screen with a 3mm thick piece of Plexiglass.

I added a few more Plexiglass squares, which I painted fitting to Wedge's. I also added a one inch hose to the chestbox.

The next step was to build the three switches. I took three pieces of wood, clamped them together and sanded them to the right shape.

I painted them and gued them to the Chestbox. Then i drilled holes in the switches and attached LEDs.
The final step was the to wire the electronics and to attach the one inch dark green straps.
I also attached a decal washer and another knob.

So there is the completed Chestbox.
I hope you like it
In the upcoming weeks I will sew the flak vest and the harness to complete the costume.
