That's what I figured. I always liked the Iron Man comics. I hope they do the suit well for the flick.

    I LOVE that illustration/style.
Anyone know if it's a specific comic artist?
And where a higher res verision of that could be found?

I knew being a comic book fan would pay off. Here's a better shot of the "poster" for you.

Not sure about the artist but I know it's the "Ultimate" Iron Man.

that is not the ultimate iron man but the new suit in the new regular Iron Man title Adi Granov did the art for the first 6 issues and is still doing the covers

I wonder how they will play Stark's shrapnel origin bit. Gulf war type thing, maybe?

It looks like a combination of the Mark I and Mark II versions that Tony developed before and after taking the Extremis in the Ellis/Granov Invincible Iron Man run of the same name. The helmet looks like it has a longer shape and more angular cheekbones, as in the Mark I (whereas the Mark II helmet is more round and smooth). But the torso looks identical to the Mark II, save for the circular chest port (in both the Mark I and II, the chest port is upside-down triangular-ish).

Ultimate Iron Man looks like this.

Wonder if any of the usual suspects (eg MR) will try to make a replica
    helmet from the movie...

I've always been a big Iron Man fan but I really only like the 70's version. I dig War Machine, too.

    :)
