Anyone catch this? Thoughts? I watched one episode and feel it really could be the next Dexter. I am looking forward to watching the rest of the season.

I enjoyed it. I was surprised it was only around half an hour. Also disappointed the guest star is only in the first episode.

Yeah... I watched the first episode and was taken in... but then after a few I have grown tired of the half hour time. These should be an hour long as it has so much more potential.

You say that like it's a good thing... ;)
Could have been a good thing. I loved Dexter!
But... after getting through the show, I feel it fell short. It had potential... but just didn't resonate with me like Dexter did. It was a fun premise for a show, but it just lacked something. I think perhaps it was that each episode was so short. Just when you get into the episode, it is over. They could have done so much more character development and story development in an hour long shows.

A lot can be done in half an hour, I think it all depends on how it's handled. I just caught an animated show on Netflix that packed so much emotional depth in one episode than other live action shows try to accomplish in one season. Pity to hear that this wound up a bit disappointing, I love both cannibalism and comedy.

After sleeping on it, I think it was just overly campy. Too much humor crammed into a half hour. Dexter paced the humor out nicely over an hour, where this crams it in. Almost like The Family Guy. Don't get me wrong, I like Family Guy, but this show could use a little darkness woven in with the campy.
