RPF Newbie Requests Advice on Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Melinda May Cosplay

Hi Everyone! New to the RPF and just getting used to the forums, etc.
I'm looking to put together a Agent Melinda May from Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for Dragon Con 2014.

Can anyone provide advice on this outfit. Such as suggestions for a navy blue long shirt with thumbholes and also where can I find the S.H.I.E.L.D. logo patches?

Any thoughts much appreciated

3. I live out of shirts with thumbholes, and you can find them in most sporting goods stores. I'd also suggest Cuddl Duds since they tend to have plain, solid colors. As for the patches, run a search in the Junkyard? I'm sure someone's done a run of those patches since there's a few costumes that they would work for!

Thank you so much! I looked at that site. It may just work for me. If the color is off I may dye it perhaps?

The other question I have regarding this Cosplay is to research any distinguishable weapons. As I see it she is always using her fists & kicking attackers HAHA!

I'm working on this too! I am going to go for the first version of her vest, it looks like she has a black thumbhole shirt and a blue leather vest. a black shirt with thumbholes is easier to find than the navy blue one.
I have a pinterest board for my ideas.. Good luck!!

This is the closest I've found for a decent May coat. It's expensive and I'm assuming it's run it course since the navy one has sold out and the black is only available in UK size 12. The reason for this one is it's longer than the average gillet and it's got 4 pockets like May's outfit. You could colour in the poppers so they aren't as obvious.

Hi! I actually decided that I am going to cosplay as May as well with the black vest (Mostly because I dont want to try to paint real leather)
Depending on your price you might be interested in this I took my chances and ordered it, it actually looks MUCH nicer in person, I don't know if my photo is any better but here's my photo. The faux leather is cheaper, I went with the actual leather.

I still need to locate the shirt that goes under and pants.
