Hi all,

Simple question:

Why isn't there an RPF iPhone or android app yet??

Yeah I can do mist things going through Safari, but the page could be easier with an app and I would love to upload pics through my phone ( which doubles as my camera.

Cmon guys, this is one of the most awesome sites on the Internet!!!!

What does everyone else recon? And what would you like to see an app facilitating??

Tapatalk backend is already installed here, so you can use that app...

And I believe the staff has said when they upgrade to the new vBulletin it has a mobile version that will come along...

Tap n talk is ok, but this is such a cool site I would love to navigate it better. And tAt won't let you upload pics :/

Funny you should ask.

Exoray pretty much already answered it, but the great news is that on Friday, vBulletin announced it will be releasing its app for sale on Monday. We have to get an apple and android developer account and that is going to take some looking into as we will end up with apps for more than one site, but we will be signing up ASAP and have our own app which will be based on vb's mobile app.

If you were talking about us having a completely custome app created... that probably isn't in the cards.

vBulletin Mobile Suite

RPF needs a cell phone friendly site

Anyone here use an android based smartphone or iPhone? If so, I'm sure you've visited the RPF while on the go. Only issue is the site isn't very phone friendly. Many websites now have a mobile version or even their own downloadable app.

Any chance the RPF will get one of these one day?

Re: RPF needs a cell phone friendly site

I use my iphone also and have had no issues with it. I turn it sideways to get the larger picture.

Re: RPF needs a cell phone friendly site

I guess its android based phones that have issues, ill look into that app. Thanks!

Re: RPF needs a cell phone friendly site

I figured there was something app based that supported this site but even after a quick forum search, nothing came up. Hate when that happens. sorry for the double post

The site works fine and dandy on my Evo, there are some quirks depending on what browser you use but besides that it's not an Android thing...

Any issue you are having are likely related to your specific phone or the browser you are using...

That tapatalk app, is a nice alternative for a clean and quick browser though...

We are STILL waiting on approval from Apple for our Apple Developer Program Enrollment so we can get our own app put up. It has been nothing but frustrating working with Apple just to get enrolled. Once we get that done we will get moving on the vBulletin native app.

And yes, before anyone asks, it will be free.

I was this close to just giving in and buying tapatalk until I saw this, now I'll just DEAL with my iPhone's Safari until this free app is out! :D

Mobile version?

Hello, just curious if there are plans for a mobile version for my iPhone and/or iPad. Thanks so much for this awesome forum.

Re: Mobile version?

Jedirm80, when I log on from my iPad I get a notice from TapaTalk for their app. Looks like it's $2.99 in the app store. Although, I'm not 100% certain if theRPF is in their list of forums.
