Hi all
I finally managed to combine my full time job with my hobby.
I have collected over many years but due to my work I have never seen it worn (Vader).
A recent concert I brought out my vader, worn by one of my guys and I trooped.
I know I left ofF the knees but it was more what we did.

Very nice indeed! That Stormtrooper is one of the best I've seen. Any info on it?
Hi
Thank you.
I am Drum Major Royal Marines and both costumes are mine, I am in the TK and one of my guys played Vader as I am too short, its normally on a mannequin and first time it was worn for real.
The Trooper is an amalgamation of 3 suits.
Its a TE helmet that I built, MFX and TE bits until I had the best I could get.
I have since bought a TM so in a few weeks this one shown will be going dirty.
I have an AP helmet and an SDS helmet kit that I am making for this .
My TM will then be for display only and then I will make as close as screen accurate I can.
I really appreciate the comments
I ;eft the knee bit off as it was a quick suit up and my boss wanted me to walk down about 30 steps. It was hard enough trying to see :)
Merry Xmas all

Excellent kit. A great Vader. Is he actually that tall. He must really stand out in the band. I've always wanted to do one, but I'm too short to be a Storm Trooper. LOL I think I'll eventually go for a Biker Scout or Tie Pilot. I already have the Tie Helmet gathering dust on a shelf. An excellent band as well. I saw and heard them practicing out at Whale Island when I was there on an exchange program in the summer of 2010 and spent some time at Okehampton in 2009, it rained all week, of course.
