Rotocasting machines?

Hi, Could anyone kindly point me in the direction of where to purchase a decent rotocasting machine or instructions on how to go about building one? A web search did not return much of use besides a $6000.00 machine. I have a few molds I want to try to hollow cast, the largest probably a 16 inch cube. Any help would be great.

Thanks!

Those machines are very expensive, as you have seen. You are better off just doing it by hand. The last shop I worked at we would just get a quick set resin and rotate the mold by hand. It's labor intensive but it still works. When I get home I'll post some pics of the mold so you can see what I'm talking about.

I do my stuff by hand, its easy, but One mold I have weighs 35 pounds using 60 OZ of resin, That is a 15 minute workout to say the least. But you can build one with a couple bicycle sprockets, a chain, handcrank, and simple wood frames, maybe 100 bucks

Thanks everyone for your input. I have tried it by hand and, yes,it is a workout! I will attempt to build one myself, I'll post pics if I survive it.
