ROTJ Stormtrooper Helmet Replica (PICS)

After a few weeks of hard work, i've now finished my latest ROTJ trooper helmet which i converted from a ANH helmet.

Assembling the helmet how i wanted it was a LOT of work. I made the face a bit thinner and softened the details, but the hardest part was building it in such a way that the left ear would turn in towards the face.

I spray painted the whole helmet inside and out in white, but not the whitest white there is, like my other helmets are painted in. I done the usual wet sanding and T-cut after the paint was fully dry, but i didn't over polish it up, so it looks just like the ABS plastic that the original ROTJ helmets were made from.
Here are some pics:

Thanks wackychimp for hosting,

Wow, great job. That's really beautiful. ROTJ is my favorite variant, and you've captured it's uniqueness really well.

With the danger sounding like a complete noob/newb (or however you want to spell it) this was a complete eye-opener for me. I never realised that the ears were slanted in the ROTJ. (took me a year to realise the difference between a TK and a TD as well :confused )

I guess you DO learn something new every day.

Ain't that from one of them there "Star Wars" movies?? :p

That looks great. One of these days I need to get a trooper helmet for display....

Thanks everyone :)
I forgot to say that the decals i used on this helmet are great and were made by jeezycreezy (TJ).

Thanks,

Keith.

I`ve really been missing your Stormtrooper threads as you`ve not posted
any lately,but now I`m very pleased.You`ve done a wonderful job.Looks
dead on accurate.:thumbsup

You should get some pics from stormtrooper(pugman) of his original and do some
comparisons.

By the way,any more helmets to show off soon?:D

Cheers,
Ben

That's brilliant work Keith. That really screams "Jedi."

(I can see what you wanted the green plastic for now.)

Very cool mic tips too. ..are these the latest versions? :)

Very nice work Keith.

You've captured the off-white colour of the plastic perfectly.
