ROTJ DH-17 bits

Heya ^^

Ive almost finished converting a Kenner Stormtrooper blaster into a DH-17 but am unsure what to use for the long rubber grip below the scope. I will most probably custom make it but no pictures show it clear enough for me to copy. Has anyone here made one of these? If so do you mind just putting up some pictures so i can get a clear image of it.

Not sure what "rubber grip" you´re talking about???

The ROTJ DH-17 doesn´t have such thing, but a scope rail, consisting of some tubing where the scope rings are attached to. Could you please specify what you´re looking for?
Maybe you´re talking about the ANH DH-17 which was reproduced by MR? This one has strips of t-track on the scope brackets...

Yea prehaps i didnt word it right, im talking about that strip (which i thought looked like a rubber grip) that is just above the circular greeblies and just below the tubing.

That's a spring on there. I thought it wa a heat sink for teh longest time . . .how little we know about these things sometimes!

Oh that blasted spring! That's still the only part I'm missing from my ROTJ DH17!
