Rollerball 2018 champions ball

I have been making Rollerball characters recently & that has led to making a full size replica of the game ball. I had always wondered how big it was, now I’m finding out..

So this is version 2. Two halves & now sporting the equatorial lines to help with the grip (as seen on the original prop).
Like an avocado, in the centre I have made a hole sized for a standard pool ball to add some weight.
I’m kind of torn between being true to the film & using creative liberties. Obviously I added the logo & a little text, But apart from that I want to stay screen true.

You're not wrong sir.

It was a closed printed sphere, so maybe residual resin inside did something to the resin. Or maybe the paint i used?! No idea yet.

I haven't had anything like this with my solid prints..
