So Im trying a new medium and well, its a challenge! So here is a rough prototype of the upper section of the helmet. Its really rough but I'm learning how to joint the section and what tools that are needed for clean cuts. Anyway heres where I stand so far...
Also any tips that anyone can offer will be greatly appreciated:)

That's awesome man, can't wait to see you suit up. I was just blabbing about my love of Robocop in the Movies thread.

Keep us posted! YOUR MOVE, CREEP! :lol

What a coincidence !
I just posted a Robocop foam build thread as well :)

I'm nearly done with the suit - a bit of tweaking and painting and that's it.
I'm explaining a bit how I went about thing and posted as much progress pics as I could (most are finished but unpainted pieces however). But, if you have any questions, let me know.

By the way - you haven't picked the easiest costume for this medium (foam)... I had to resort to some of the tricks I've learned on working on other foam armoring project to keep this one as "seamless" as possible. But then - if you pull through you'll have learned a LOT about foam and how it behaves (and certainly how to make it behave like you want it to behave :p)

for a first go, thats damn cool. it looks perhaps like the eyehole is gonna be too high up, but still...very good!
