Just saw this. Sad.
Known for a lot of major roles, like.the Shining, as a kid, I knew her from Suburban Commando. A silly yet fun little movie.

There was a documentary about her being made back when she was still a recluse called, "Hello, I'm Shelley Duvall," that unfortunately seemed to not go anywhere. Hopefully, what footage with her that was recorded is saved and assembled into something and released to honor her life and career, especially how she deteriorated mentally over time (many speculating that working on The Shining exacerbated things).

I also loved Popeye when I saw it as a kid on TV.

I loved that show as a kid.

She suffered so much these past couple of decades with depression and schizophrenia, in a near constant state of paranoia.

At least she’s finally at peace.
