RIP: Irwin Hasen, Golden Age Comic Artist and Creator of "Dondi"

Irwin Hasen, who created the comic strip Dondi and drew Green Lantern and Wonder Woman during the Golden Age, has passed at 96 from heart failure. I met this guy at NYCC many times, and he was always very nice to talk to. A gent.

Very few of the old comics guys still left.

Never knew of him (not a big comic book guy) but in the picture you posted I instantly recognized the art style from classics I read as a kid. RIP. Long life spent doing what he loved!

They don't make them like him anymore. A real legend in the comic art community. He will be missed.
