Riddick Spinning Knife

Ok--I am going a little bit far here..--After doing the Necromonger Dagger, I thought--why not something else? So I started on this one--this is about 15 minutes work and obviously just a start. I will complete the blade, sculpt the handle out of clay and then do a resin copy.

Here is some more work on it--I did a pre-sanding on the blade, rough cut the holes and am going to start on the sculpting on the handle.

Ok--back to this one--I am getting the handles sculpted and then I will be making this out of Damascus steel and possibly bronze handles. Maybe pewter or zinc as the original one looks silver grey--
Have the Damascus located and as soon as I get the handles sculpted I will be sending them out for casting. The blades will be heat treated and sharpened also!!.
I am going to try to get as close to the original as possible but not going to spend enormous amounts of time on it--I just think this would be cool to have so thats why Im making it. If im off a little bit on the handle details--oh well.
If I were doing this to be screen accurate that would be a different story.
