Demo Dick has passed on at 81.

He was a true unconventional Operator and in a lot of ways wrote the book.

I used to see him every July 4 in the 80’s and had many “firefights” with him using bottle rockets

Still in shock ....

He was a man of honor and integrity

Richard Marcinko, creator of SEAL TEAM SIX passed away on Christmas. Absolutely loved reading his books back in my 20's. I know he had some controversy, but what he did accomplish was incredible.

Richard Marcinko, the first head of the elite SEAL Team Six, has died

Richard Marcinko, a legendary military figure known for leading SEAL Team Six when the covert special operations unit was in its infancy, died Saturday, according to his son and the National Navy SEAL Museum. He was 81.

Wow! Reading this is like getting hit with a brick! He will be missed no doubt. Like many i have enjoyed reading his book. Rogue Warrior and Rogue Warrior 2: Red Cell were the books i read. After that i made sure to get every book he got published b/c i did not want to miss out on the cool and crazy stories. Rest In Peace. ~Salutes~
