Some have probably seen the news that she was in a car accident. But she was pronounced legally dead. I’m not a big fan of hers, but I have seen some of her films from the 90s and 2000s. Rest In Peace, Ms. Heche.

The actor was pronounced legally dead following a week-long coma, but remains on life support for the purposes of organ donation.

One film I definitely enjoyed her performance is was Donald Camel’s final film, Wild Side. The editor of the film did a director’s cut going off of Cammell’s notes, putting it the way the late director wanted it. If you live in the U.S. and the only version you‘ve seen was the one that was released, you’re not getting the version of the story Cammell wanted to show.

Wonderful to hear she was an organ donor. It's not always intact organs that are donated; we also see donations of cornea, tendon/ligament, bone as well.

Having done some transplant care and operative assist during my surgical training, I strongly encourage people to consider becoming organ donors.
