Research help for Abraxas/Infected costume from Tron Evolution

Hi everyone. I am in need of some pictures of Abraxas and/or an Infected from Tron Evolution. I mainly need pictures of them from behind. I also can't find pictures of Abraxas with his helmet on but hood down/cape off, so I don't know what his helmet looks like on it's own. He's one of my fave's from all the game footage and pics I have managed to see. I'm planning to make this for the UK gathering in November. I've looked for hours on the internet for pictures and referance meterial but can only find front profiles and all the rest don't show enough.
I've now had a bit of experience with EL Tape and wire so I thought I'd make this as I'm quite a Trom fan.
I may just make a simple vacformed Visor based on what i've seen so far and keep the hood up as well as wing the design under the cape.

Any help would be most welcome.

Thanks

I have a program that can view the models from the game. I'm away from my Evolution game files right now, but I'll see if I can rip the model for you.

I've sourced most of the meterials I need for this project so I'm doing some more experimenting with the EL tape (left over from my last costume build) to find it's limitations. I'm thinking of doing the cape with 3.5" EL tape and cut the electic design straight out of it. I've found a way to splice the tape and reconnect it using Wire Glue (not a plug by the way, but this stuff is perfect for this job). This was only my first attempt (hence the bulky wires) and the electrical tape is to help support/hold the two pieces together for testing.
As you can see from the "up close" picture, you can see the split line but it dissapears on camera from a little further away.

Just took a closer look at your current build list. I would love to see some pictures of the Bladerunner blaster. I LOVE that film.

I have the 3d models as well and can snap a screenshot from every angle if necessary. Just tell me if you are still interested and I'll do it.:thumbsup

OMG! That would be AWESOME! I have so few referance pics I was considering shelving him.

Thanks for the rescue man :) :) :)

These are just some photos I took of a model to give you a better idea. This is the same file used in the game but ripped from it.

I'm going to be taking photos of my xbox 360 avatar as well later this morning. That could help too a lot.

Yes please! Theses are great so far, but I could use some of him from behind so I can get the pattern right on the back of the cape if not too much trouble.

Okay I'll be taking a screencap of the back of the model previously shown and another model to see if there is any difference

Guess this never worked out?

I was just thinking about how awesome a costume Abraxas would make...

Hi Father :)

Not yet it hasn't, but I have been working hard in the background cus I'll be damned if I'm going to give up on this one :lol

I have sourced everything I need and even have a quote for the EL needed for his cape/hood setup too ;) The costume will involve a certain amount skills I am still learning, one of which is sewing. I didn't have a sewing machine until just recently either, but I hope to get behind the wheel soon and start learning as there are a few bits n pieces I'd like to do toward the plethora of costomes I have planned for the kids.

Also been honing my moulding/casting skills so I can do a decent job on his fingertips (yellow tinted clear resin with embedded LEDs is the plan).

My other big hurdle was referance material. I nearly gave up and was going to wing it on what little I already had as finding pics with his hood down proved all too elusive. This changed a little while ago so I'm trying to gather the funds to buy the materials to get going, just seems like there's a lot of stuff I have to do in between though :lol

Well I look forward to seeing it through. I think that's one of the coolest designs in the Tron universe. Good luck.
