I came back to this project recently. I wanted key made from metal and Shapeways was now offering more in that category. So, I had them print and cast a key in solid sterling silver. I know, excessive. But it was actually the cheapest option that gave a true chrome finish in solid metal. I love this thing. It's heavier than you'd think.
