Replica JP Velociraptor Bust

Hi Everyone,

I am a long time lover of the JP series. My friend and I currently working on a replica bust of the Jurassic Park (first movie) raptor. It is still a work in progress but I thought I would post progress pics to get everyones opinions. We plan to make a cast to create more.

Here are a few progress pics of his work..

Should hopefully have some more pics of the actual painted mold in a week or two. Debating on if we should include a scar of some kind like the raptor was in a fight.

I like the shape allot! but i don't think they had scales...
I think they should be more like elephant skin/wrinkles?

Nice progress, I love JP and my favourite dinosaur has always been the raptor.

I see your point about 'scales'. We are going for the look of JP 1. They tend to be more scaly than JP2 or 3. We may consider toning it down a bit though. Thanks.

The JP1 and JP2 is afaik from the same molds. Only the paint scheme is different. Only in JP3 did they alter the head to a different shape.

They have been finished for some time and I have sold a couple to local collectors. I will be posting a thread with more pictures and to gather interest if we should do a run. We have made 4 so far. We are currently at the V2 of the raptor and will be creating a V3 with a few improvements if we can get enough orders.
