Replace wires on gutted Vader FX?

So after gutting and cleaning my MR ESB Vader FX, I now need 2 things:

A good bulb socket, which I am working on...

and...

Wires!

Has anyone replaced the goofy "wires" on one of these? If so, how did you do it?

Not on a MR but I added wires to a vintage Heiland/MPP Replica hybrid with Larbel endcap yet real TI-30 red bubblestrip :





I'd say leave the red on ... just replace the rest ... or you could repaint them more accurately ... my blue is a bit to blue should be more sunny sky blue or so :wacko
