Repairing Rubber Dreads

Just wondering if a rubber dread like you would find on a Sideshow Wolf Bust or HCG Predator Bio 1 should snap or rip in half, what would you suggest would be the best way to repair that other than superglue?

Any materials to fill in a gap or make the seam disappear, etc?

Obviously with resin or polystone or a "hard" substance, this is easily achievable but with a rubber dread, seems to me like the repair would be a lot harder.

Thanks for any insights!

Superglue would of been my first bet. As i've repaired two heads with dreads in the past with super glue.

But, i would of resprayed my dread then with platidip. If you are using it for a non-static use.
