I had created a two-part mold in polyurethane awhile ago. The model I had molded had a deep undercut which I thought I had smoothed out. Well, while I was able to demold it, a portion of the undercut that I just missed snagged the rubber. I was able to take it out without much damage, no hole even formed at that time. I was then able to produce two castings, however, the 2nd on is where a large tear/hold was created when de-molding.
I found this material called "Ure-Bond" URE-BOND™ II Urethane Adhesive | Reynolds Advanced Materials
States that it's best for small tears and such and not for long term. Is there any other techniques for repair? I'd hate to scrap the entire mold for this.
